Cruise missile strikes Gadhafi compound

Over the past few days, the U.S. and rebel Libyan coalition forces have caused havoc for Gadhafi. On Friday, the USS Barry, an American Destroyer, launched a tamohawk missile which struck one of Gadhafi's strongholds and eliminated the anti-air warfare that he had maintained for so long upon the ground. The U.S. is close to beginning hand control of the situation and will probably begin that shortly. The "long-battle with the West" as Gadhafi had claimed will not be for that long. If we do not get to him quickly, a libyan rebel is sure to assassinate him and he will be killed by his own people. After the bombardment of Libya, people there have reported seeing Libyan government officials staging corpses at the site to look like America has killed the innocent. Sounds like a last resort to me.
